Music is in our blood! The Hanlon family is a three-generation Gold Coast family that has been performing and sharing their love of music on the Gold Coast since the 1970s. This rich musical heritage flows into everything we do at HSM.

A message from the owner.

"I created Hanlon School of Music because I wanted to have a place where children and adults could learn music in a creative and inspiring environment, that is different from any other music school. I believe that music is important for a healthy mindset and I wanted to create a sanctuary where people could learn and grow in a positive environment.

As an orphan and solo father, I understand how hard life can be, and I believe that music can help people cope with difficult times. Music can help improve cognitive skills, help develop creativity and self-expression and provide a sense of community and belonging.
